    That worked for both my wireless and wired usb keyboard / mouse. After many problems with nvidia drivers + 2.6.35 kernel + custom edid + usb input, things are finally (as it seems) working smooth with my 10.10 amd64 install

    Many thanks again.

    The 64 bit version goes to an invalid link. Looking at the launchpad, I cannot find an update. Any possibility of helping a brotha out?

    What a disgrace. This happened to me before when upgrading from 9.04 to 9.10. This time I have not even, to my knowledge, installed or upgraded any software for at least one month...

    people... i'm running ubuntu 1.10 64 version. This link seems to be broken. Anyone could attach this .deb file? This is really annoying.

    Thanks!

    For those of you who can't find the package, try this:

    https://edge.launchpad.net/~raof/+archive/aubergine

    To install:

    Code:
    sudo apt-add-repository ppa:raof/aubergine && sudo apt-get update && sudo apt-get upgrade
    After that you'll probably need to reboot. I'm on 64 bit and it works for me.

    Thanks for that. I ran the commands, and it seemed to install successfully, but it did not fix the problem. In fact it may have gotten worse.

    Now as soon as I touch my trackpad, it acts as if I've left clicked and not released. So if I am typing it will try and select all the text, wherever the pointer goes.
