Jobs that combine computer skills with an Economics degree

So, I have an economics degree now, but my experience, my skills, are really more computer related than business related, which is where most of my fellow students end up. I was wondering if anyone here knows of jobs that effectively merge the skillsets.

I've been looking into Business Analysis. Seems really exciting. Combines IT skills with Business skills pretty effectively, but seems like a slow career field. You have to work in the industry for 5 years before they'll certify you. But, I think I might try it. Start applying around for jobs as a Jr Business Analyst.

Does anyone know much about combining business and IT skills?

I've achieved something special. Zero responses in the cafe. Wonder if its a first.

You could become one of those Wall Street "quants"...

You could also be an analyst.
