I have moved my site to a new link and I would like the proper way of redirecting to new site.
I have search the net that you should do a 301 redirect and not using a meta tag because search engine would think you are spamming.

I would like to use the meta tag because I want to let users know that the old site has moved. Applying a 301 redirect would just automatically redirect to new link and users may not be aware of the new link.

What are my other options if I can't use meta tag to inform users of new link?
