This thread was discussing activity which is NOT illegal, so the close seems unwarranted.

On top of that, KiwiNZ participated in the thread earlier, without closing it! (the topic hadn't changed from his first post to the close post...)

The thread had answered the OP's question , that is, it is contrary to the You Tube Terms of use to down load material as he wished to do so.

The thread had moved into areas of circumvention, Ubuntu Forums does not condone such activity .Close was in the scope of the Code of Conduct.These are moderated forums and we reserve the right to restrict illegal activity.

The thread has run it's course. There is a link in the thread to the terms of use for youtube.
