I recently installed Ubuntu 10.04 on my Dell XPS 1645.
There is a list of two wireless drivers which are available.
[Broadcom B43 Wireless Driver & Broadcom STA Proprietary Wireless Driver]
Neither seem to work.
With the STA driver installed, I am able to enable wireless yet no connections will be displayed.
With the B43 driver installed, I am able to enable wireless and connections will be displayed, but upon trying to connect it will ultimately fail.
Using the B43 driver I was able to connect to a wireless network once, but never since. I have no idea why.
Wireless worked perfectly fine with both Ubuntu 9.04 and 9.10 - These were both 32-bit installations.
Wicd also reported back that appears to be failing while attempting to obtain an IP address.
Any help would be most appreciated, thanks in advance.
