Hardware Drivers window not showing?

Whenever I click "Hardware Drivers" under system - administration, it shows the window with a progress bar saying that it's downloading and updating package info, then when it finishes, it closes and nothing else pops up. Why is this happening/how can I fix it?

Extra info: the last time I checked it was a couple months ago, so yeah, I've done alot since then so I have no idea what could cause it.
A little bit:
I've installed aircrack, kismet, Rosegarden, theorur (or however you spell it), Ethereal, Gnaural, and I changed the sources.list.

Dont know if you are still struggling with this...

I just had the same problem. After trying a lot of things, I went to Synaptic Package Manager and updated the jockey-gtk package (It had a grey exclamation icon next to it).
