Any cool emulators for ubuntu?

It's spelt Desmume, with capitalisation somewhere in the word.
But yeah, it's a pretty steady emulator on Linux. But I don't think it's too partial to Windows platforms - trying to run it on WinXP, WinVista and Wi7 all resulted in hanging, or extremely laggy performance - and I'm talking one frame every three seconds laggy.

I got the same problem when running Desmume on windows, besides slow, the screen got green for som reason. When i was still using windows i used No$gbaZoom, runs 89-95 fps on average and had many features including customize zooming, rotating screen, independent screen sizing, screen detaching. Anyways, is very useful.

My wife use snes9x for super nintendo emulation. Seems to work pretty well.

There's UAE and e-uae for amiga emulation (face it, what is life without Turrican ?)

For C64, I ended up just using winvice in wine, which works flawlessly.
