Believe it or not, I'm still getting good service out of my old G3 ppc-imac with Ubuntu Jaunty. Most used computer in the house. Since it's sitting next to the phone, I wanted to use it for sending faxes. Installed Gfax, but haven't been able to successfully send a fax. I'm not sure what the "modem port" and "modem type" settings should be (or even if you can get faxes to work on this computer at all). Anyone know what the settings should be? I've experimented with a few random combinations with no success. Thanks.
