I don't know much about domain hosting. But my IT teacher uses 1&1 and must like it, otherwise he'd be using something else. I can't say what most services do. But with 1&1 you don't actually have your own IP address. They use virtual hosting.

The only thing I know for certain is that I know nothing at all, for certain.
Never realised theres so many places to go through and things to consider.
Since i dont have a web server yet, i'll have to get hosting too i guess.
I've used domain.com for registering domain names. They also do hosting.
