When i use laptop i like to watch tv listen news but i cant do it in Ubuntu

i have tv box called nova-s usb2 hauppauge

it isnt supported by linuxtv dvbl etc doesnt work in ubuntu at all so i cant watch tv.

i would like to ask do you know what card satellite card and have to be usb should i buy.
in the UK that does work in ubuntu ?

we have over here just pc world and maplins so no much

which one card should i buy from pc world or maplins that will work in ubuntu 10.04 ?
is there any at all ?
