New Archos devices announced. Thoughts?

While Apple hogs all the gadget news today, Archos releases new internet devices. (press release)

The 43 looks especially good to me. I've been waiting for price-comparable, iPod Touch-comparable Android devices for awhile!

Any wildly speculative thoughts on theses? Looking forward to some reviews, looks like they'll be available soon.

Just in case someone is looking at these...

I ended up getting the Archos 32 because the larger 43 is currently MIA.

The 32 is under $150. Easy to use, easy to hack to get access to the full Google Marketplace. Slightly smaller in dimensions than an iPod touch.

The only downside is that the camera is mediocre and the screen resolution is not great. But it's fine for checking email and tweeting and stuff. It's like an iPod Touch Jr., but much cooler.

It really shines as a media player. Instantly recognized by Banshee and Clementine, or manageable by drag n drop, plays tons of formats

If the 43 becomes available again (slightly larger screen than an iPod and with an SD slot) I would upgrade without hesitation.
