    Corners

    When will they smooth corners?

I don't know why, maybe i'm too sensitive on these kind of things, but I don't like corners in Ubuntu. They should make them smoother, because now they look like they're cutted with broken scissors.

No. I don't like them rounded... I would love to have only straight line box.

Isn't a straight lined box The very definition of a corner?
If the only reason you think your software is better is because it's FOSS, you need to write better software

Yes. No need to complicate things. I am native English speaker so I apologise...
As you can see "corners" are rounded not very well they should be at least smoother. Perfect for me would be as you said corner as it is.

    P.S. juancarlospaco, why?

Limitations in GTK I suppose. A similar reason why you won't get aero in Windows until you've installed your gpu drivers perhaps.

Gnome just haven't implemented a window manager that can handle and detect anti-aliased and alpha-transparent images etc. I'm not a programmer, so I really don't understand why so much graphical power is needed to draw one transparent image on a background for example. (Transparent images can be used with the pixbuf engine though - inside other widgets.)

If you are on a LiGNUx forum, doesnt make sense ask Why XYZ?,
its just philosophy, allways the response is "Because i can"
    so...

    Because i can.

    Rounded edges take screen space,
and the rounded edge programs still having non-rounded edges,
    but with alpha rendered corners.

Is it just me or does LiGNUx sound like some sort of nose-related disease?
