remote desktop XP-ubuntu

i can remote my XP from my ubuntu and vice versa
the problem is...when i remote my ubuntu from XP, ubuntu doznt log out, but when i go the other way round XP immediately logs out
is there a way not to make this happen?

which tool are you exactly using?. Depending on your needs, you could try a VNC client for remoting your Ubuntu system from a Windows.

i used VNC but it had same problem...log out
also used "log me in" program it worked but the problem is that i have to keep the program running on the remote XP if i want to control it from my ubuntu and it was very annoying

i use VNC to control ubuntu from XP...in that case ubuntu doznt log out
