Medieval 2 Total War - external drive?

    Hello Ubuntu Community,

I'm running low on disk space on my comp and would like to install Medieval 2 Total War. I was thinking about installing it on my external hard disk which I am currently using (~50GB left and m2TW uses ~10GB). How would I go about doing this? I am using wine 1.3.

    Thanks in advance.

I guess you can you symlink ~/.wine/drive_c/MyExtraPrograms to some directory on your external hard disk. Then just choose C:\MyExtraPrograms as installation location.
