Syncing in Rhythmbox on Ubuntu 10.04

A few months ago, I was trying to sync a Coby digital audio player in Rhythmbox on Ubuntu 8.04, but according to the help file it could only read from music players. Now that the 10.04's help file says to use Rhythmbox to sync music files to player, I have a few questions.

    1. Whenever I sync, how come it creates the folders as Artist/Album? I tried changing the folder options in preferences, it still syncs Artist/Album.

    2. How come syncing renames my music? For example, instead of saying "01 - Song Title", it will be renamed "01.01 - Song Title" adding a "01." to it.

I think it's nice Rhythmbox has a syncing feature now, but I just want to know more. I have an "is_audio_player" file on my music player so it can play back in Rhythmbox, but I transfered music using the file browser. Any answers please, and thanks in advance.
