I AM wrong ? linux is slower than widnows Multitasking ?

I do not know WHY I feel like linux is a bit slower than windows when I am running multiple programs ! even some programs crash sometimes.

I am wrong ?

If someone can tell me the technical details I would thank her/him.

It's hard to tell you a possible reason without more information. What are your hardware specifications? what version of OS/apps do you use?

Right now, all I can recommend you is to run a full memory scan as one (or more) of your memory cards (or mobo slots) may be damaged.

WOW ! I turn it off and I would say 30% improved ! it is interesting to see that Compiz indeed makes your computer DAMN slower.
