    ... without automatically downloading them into my tmp folder?

    If you have the flash player installed, you will be able to install them inside your browser. However the browser will always download the files an put them to the /tmp directory.

    I have wondered about this as well. This created a problem for me because my /tmp partition was too small which made the YouTube movie to stop. I solved it by adding a directory on one of my partitions so the /tmp partition grew in size.

    I'm just curious if this is what you have been interested in as well?
