    Koffice for Gnome

    Why don't we have a Gnome variant of KOffice? It would be nice alternative to OpenOffice.

    Why don't you install it on Gnome?

    sudo apt-get install koffice
    It will probably pull in a lot of libraries for KDE.

    sudo apt-get install gnome-office

    installs abiword, gnumeric, gimp, etc....
