Chats Logger is not working correctly?

Hello,

I'm using Ubunbtu 10.04 with Empathy 2.30.2 and Today I needed to check the
history of conversations and I noticed that are not properly stored. The
program keeps only a small part of discussions that were actually much longer.

Is someone affected by this bug?

Logger as been completely rewritten in 2.31.x. Any chance you could test using
latest 2.31 and latest telepathy-logger?

From PPA, Empathy version is 2.30.2...

Is possible install 2.31.x in ubuntu 10.04?
