    Question Android apps for linux

Has anyone seen the Alchemy game available on android phones (see http://www.appbrain.com/app/me.zed_0xff.android.alchemy) and is there a comparable app available to download on a linux run pc?

Nothing similar for GNU/Linux or Ubuntu?

And more generally, how is possible to run android application in Ubuntu?

If you are willing to install the Android SDK
    http://developer.android.com/sdk/installing.html

It brings an Android Virtual machine that runs Android programs inside your computer.

I've only tested it from Eclipse with code written by myself in a tutorial (yesterday actually). But I don't see a reason why it wouldn't work for any android program.

I will try this method but I think it's a developer method, not a simple user method to run android apps on Ubuntu.

    Anyway thanks for the advice.

That's true. It's not simple and moreover it requires you to install a lot of unnecessary stuff. That's why I said "if you are willing to..."
