Question time-tracking tool for LXDE / LXpanel / Lubuntu ?

I am looking for simple time-tracking tool to be used in Lubuntu (or LXDE without gnome-panel in general) as a applet or application minimized in tray. What I found so far:
    • hamster-applet - I like it but without gnome-pannel can be run only in standalone window without icon on panel or tray.
    • gnotime - I used it before and I do not like it, interface is unintuitive
    • gtimelog - nice&small, just I do not like idea to write what I done afterwards. Also not really mature yet. But maybe I will give it a try.

Heavyweight, java-based (like rachota) or online tools (even if run on local web server) are not for me. Thanks a lot for any suggestions.

I use Xubuntu 10.04 with Hamster for time tracking. To be able to enable Hamster applet on the panel I installed xfce4-xfapplet-plugin package. I do not know about Lubuntu but it solved this issue for me in Xubuntu.

I know it is not the solution you seek for but you can try to use gnome-panel as it is explained here if it is possible in Lubuntu.

Again not a good answer to your question but another alternative coming to my mind is using Grindstone2 with Wine.
