    WII Emulation in Ubuntu?

Has anybody managed to emulate wii in Ubuntu?
I know emulation can be a bit hit and miss, I have a NinWii and Only use it for a few games, Brawl and Metroid.

If I could emulate those games on a computer through Dolphin or something relatively fast I could sell the Nintendo WII.

I DID play Guitar Hero games a lot but they can be run on PC, or FOF any way.

Just a few ideas would be nice on a way to play the few games I actually need to through the ubuntu box?

Ubuntu 10.4, pretty much a clean install.

I don't have the best specs on my PC, 1GB Ram, less than 2GHZ but it's never let me down and can handle more than it should.

I think Dolphin is open source and cross-platform, isn't it?

i used dolphin once. one of the better emulators i've used actually.

but it requires a pretty fast computer

edit: and sorry, it looks like your computer isn't nearly fast enough :/

I think I'd get more out of upgrading my computer than a wii anyway.
I know it'd be more expensive but I use the computer for a lot more than gaming and with a bit of money it'd mean not just dolphin but Blender, Gimp etc works better.

Dolphin 2.0 has great compatibility with most games. Tales of Symphonia 2 for example runs perfectly on my laptop once I tweaked the settings. Don't try later SVN versions on Linux because they broke the OpenGL plugin; it's about 10x slower than it used to be.

Thanks for the heads up, Looks like it's a new pc I'll need but it's nice to know I will still be able to play the games I like.

Emulation of older systems such as the N64 and PS1 is still very unstable, let alone the Wii. I wouldn't count on it anytime soon.

How did you come to that conclusion? Dolphin seems to work pretty well. I've actually seen the most issues with the older systems, NES, SMS, etc, and newer systems run great
