Words are made of thoughts, not letters. Although we use letters to form the words the letters do not themselves make the words, just the sound of the word. What made the word was a need to express something about something.

true and false. words on a page are indeed literally made of letters (in an attempt to label concepts or objects) but are conceived in the mind as thoughts; words themselves are imbued with meaning dependent on the listener's interpretation of said words. words themselves do not hold meaning; rather, they attempt to convey the speaker/writer's intent.
keeping with the theme though, all words are meaningless if we've run out of whiskey; however, if whiskey's involved, words aren't necessary...

Words, when whiskey is involved, are very necessary, for examples:
"Hey, that one's mine!"
"What do you mean s'empty?"
"Will the bottle-o still be open?"
and of course, that old chestnut: "I love you mate!" said, probably, with slobber and a lot of slurring with perhaps a smattering of hoarseness.
Everything is much easier for people, and everybody does it better, when they are inebriated.

People's dependency on devices to access the internet is really quite silly, as we've all got an empathetic connection to the internet and can download and post directly from our minds it really is quite contrary!
