The Wiki is complete and the link in my signature should be used instead of the first post in this thread.
The Wiki is more accurate and not as convoluted as this How to has become as I can no longer edit it.
There is some incorrect information in this How to but, the Wiki is good to go.
Post any comments, questions or problems here as long as it stays open.
Thanks!

I've created another thread with the Community Wiki in my signature which will give a place to post questions, comments, problems, etc.

This section of the Ubuntu forum will be closed shortly.
Thanks to those who have used this tutorial.
I look forward to hearing from you in the new thread.
Check the post in my new thread. I have 7 operating systems installed and doubt I would be able to maneuver the menu if it wasn't custom.

Through experience I have learned that it is best if you restore these custom files to their original state prior to upgrading Ubuntu versions.
So, in the Community Wiki in my signature I have added how to do so and provided a link with the original file contents.
They can be copied and pasted into the files and Grub2 will be back to it's original state.
This thread is closed.
