    Kernal loading

Hi can anyone help me I am running Ubuntu 8.0.4.04 with an installed CNC operating program. For the CNC program to work I have to boot with a particular Kernal. This is easily done by intervening at the boot screen and manually choosing which kernal to boot with but I would like to find a way to make it boot that way automatically.

    Any help would be appreciated

If you search in Synaptic for "linux-image" it will show which kernels are installed. You can remove the ones you don't want.
