When Xubuntu Lucid decided allofasudden that it wouldn't boot anymore, I was tempted to go back to Windows too. For about 0.68 seconds (an eternity for an android, I'm told).
But one of the coolest things about Linux is that it's so easy to reinstall or even switch distros without spending any money or even much time doing it.
Wiping away an OS that just balks on my machine after an update and replacing it with another Linux distro is just too easy compared to putting Windows back on.

Hoppi, it's good to hear from you again. You don't have to stay away just because you don't use Linux. I primarily use Win7, but I stick around for the conversation and because I care what is happening in the Linux world.
