I am not the author of said thread, but I think it should be reopened.

Let people say what they think and how they feel about society. I assure you the thread will not go out of control.

I understand you may view the thread as being somewhat political, but it can bring change.

People might benefit from the thread. For all you know, people's lives could be changed, as they will be exposed to new ways of thinking they have not considered before.

There has already been less than appropriate posts by one person in particular that indicate that the thread will turn sour. And that was within a very short period of time.

I do not believe there is anything to be gained from reopening the thread except to reopen it to trollish behavior.

The thread will remain closed.
