NVIDIA Working or not?

Hi:

On my Ubuntu 10.04 Update manager updated my System to: 2.6.32-24-generic-pae #38 Ubuntu SMP today.

On boot, I get the green NVIDIA Splash screen, system comes up fine at 1280X800 as usual. Everything works.

Here is the problem. System ==> Admin ==> Nvidia X Server Settings says I have Nvidia driver Version 195.36.24 Active.

But under System ==> Admin Hardware Drivers it says "Nvidia_Current -- This driver is Activated but not currently in use"

So, I went here: https://help.ubuntu.com/community/Bi...erHowto/Nvidia and followed the procedure under "Common Issues - NVIDIA driver activated but not currently in use in ubuntu 10.04"

Nothing changed. My question is this How can I tell if the Nvidia Driver is both Activated and in use?

Don't worry, it is just a bug. Your driver is fine.
