    Question Ubuntu SNMP

I am using Ubuntu and not long after I boot (not sure the exact time but within a few minutes) the UPS on the same subnet sends out a message saying: Detected an unauthorized user attempting to access the SNMP interface from 152.15... (my IP address).

Is ubuntu supposed to do this by default or is this something I should be worried about? I read that maybe this is ubuntu scanning for printers but I want to be certain.

Any help would be greatly appreciated,
    Xlar
