Firefox Google Interface Font Problem

Hi,

I have starting this week a confusing Google start page Font problem.

Here the screenshot:


I haven't changed my fonts on the system.

My Configuration:
Ubuntu 10.04
Firefox 3.6.7

Could please somebody please help me?

I use Ubuntu 10.04 Language US-English if that has something to do with the problem?

I've been having this same problem. Happened all of a sudden a few weeks ago. Only happens on google.com from what I can see - the minute I switch to google.co.uk the fonts are fine.

This could be caused by visual effects being turned on.

Well that is the German version of Google. Try clicking the Google offered in English link. That might help. If you're actually at google.com and it's doing this, try clearing your cache and reloading the page. To clear your cache go to the Clear Recent History menu under Tools. Select to change the time range to everything and then only make the cache option selected.

I have cleared the cache of firefox and reloaded the google.at site and now it works and looks normal:
