Squid doesn't allow access to Itunes Music Store

    Hello,

I have a little home server with squid to proxy and cache my internet access. The problem is, when squid is online, itunes won't connect to the music store at all. Everything else seems to work, but not itunes. If I disable the IP table rules that forward port 80 to 3128 (squids port) so its forwarded right to the internet, itunes works along with everything else, but I don't get any of the cool things squid offers. I tried googling it and I found a few people with the same problem, but never did I find a solution, so now Im asking you guys here at the forums.

    Any help would be appertained.

I realize this is almost a year old, but did you ever resolve this? I am having a similar issue.

why dont you use squid as a non-transparent proxy..
aka configure your browser\itunes to use it as is proxy
    http://ip:3128
or any other way on the system\browser settings?

While that may work for the OP, I am using this in a public setting where I will have no access to the users computer to configure browser settings.
