I have to test GNOME Shell for usability and UX. I'm on Lucid with Intel GM965. I tried both the one in official repos and the one from ricotz's PPA. Both of them are ultra slow.
The other day, I installed the packages from ricotz's PPA for the first time then ran GNOME Shell immediately after installing. It was working smoothly. The next day (yesterday), when I booted, GNOME Shell won't run smoothly anymore.
Since then, I've tried packages from the official repos and ricotz's PPA, but both are now ultra slow. Any idea?
