Skype memenu integration

Hi there,
is there a way to integrate skype accounts in the menu, as for facebook and msn accounts?

I've searched both the formus and the web and I haven't found any hint.

Skype is closed source, so if there is a way, only skype devs know it. Try http://forum.skype.com/.

The pidgen/empathy plugin would probably be your best bet.

Search in synaptic for pidgin-skype.

I was going to try downloading it and see how it integrates but my computer is having odd network issues this morning. Based on the description it should work.
