Since it hasn't been released yet, no one knows. However, historically big name titles such as WoW, Guild Wars, LOTRO and other MMOs have been able to run on Linux thanks to Wine.

The game runs on DX10 which I think isn't too hard these days but I haven't played with WINE for quite a while. I might if LoL was better supported but it seems every update breaks the app.

As it's LucasArts if there was it would last about 5 seconds before being taken down. Unfortunately the beta testing NDA is very strict and aggressively pursued (apparently someone who posted screenshots got hit with a massive law suit they will be paying off for years) so I think we'll hear nothing until it's released. Most annoying - I was hoping to get in on the beta, but I've not been lucky enough to be picked - I imagine there'll be entries on WINEhq very quickly upon it's release, though.

What does WoW run on, DX 9 or 10? Can't remember off the top of my head, but if it's 10 then hopefully we should be fine with SWTOR as WoW runs on my system fine under WINE (and, in fact, even quicker than it runs on windows on my dual boot, hehe).

wow will run in -opengl mode so no dx compatibility needed.

Come on, man! The idea is to bring over more games native to the Linux platform, not push them away.

Thank you to the original poster of this poll. Great idea. It would be sooo great to get a native version made, to sale for the Linux O/S. I am sure percentage wise, it would be a great seller.
