    Question Looking to replace iTunes

I am running 10.04 32bit Ubuntu. I have a fourth generation iPod it is 30gigs & can display color photos *NOT VIDEOS*

I would like to know what I can use to replace iTunes & still sync my MP3's to my iPod & etc..

What are the best programs for Ubuntu users?

    Thanks in advance.

You could try Rhythmbox as it can work for some to sync. I have had no success with it though since i have an iPod Touch with 4.0 software.. but it may work for you.

when using GTKpod after I sync my music to the ipod the songs only play for 1 second and this happens for all the music I synced.

    Re: Looking to replace iTunes

There are lots of players that will work with your iPod. Check out this list and try each one until you find one that works for you. That's what I did.

Or google "linux ipod" for more. There's got to be something out there that works.
