    Exclamation Problems with Dell Vostro 1720 battery and UBUNTU

    I always ignored the message that ubuntu shows at startup:
    "It's like : Your battery level is too low approximely 48.9% . It seems that your battery is broken or too old. " but in fact my battery level is 100%.

    This laptop is from 2010, so it can't be old. It also can't be broken because at windows all is good, and it never says that...


    The problem is when I disconnect AC charger from laptop, I get another messages :


    It says that my battery is critical level low and computer will go hibernate now. Accept cancel buttons. When I press cancel, it ignores and continue hibernating. The problem is that then it says : not enogh swap memory. And I can't do anything. It's horrible

    I have the same problem with my battery in a Dell Vostro 1720. with Ubuntu 10.04
    Did you find any solution?

    Yeah, but im no longer ubuntu user. That problem solutioned by itself. Maybe some update fixed it.. Don't remember.
