how to install thinkfinger

Hi, I have T61 IBM laptop and I am trying to enable the fingerprint reader for direct access. I need to know how to install the software for this? I was trying to download thinkfinger from sourceforge and tried to compile from source using the instructing given in the following site

But I get error message that "PAM header files not found" when executing the ./configure line. How do i proceed? please help

I just found out the solution. I followed the instruction given in the following link at the forums and everything worked well.
