    Hi pinguy,

Let's put this great respin on a website, eh?

If you want, send me a list of what you'd want the website to have. I'd love to help and see what I can do about setting you up.

Also, pinguyos.com is available (but pinguy.com is taken).

    Cheers and good work!

    Nice operating system pinguy.

The only suggestion I would make, looking at it from a new user point of view would be to get rid of the Docky on the left and maybe stick the places on the desktop or the bottom Docky.

It would also look a lot better if you could get rid of any Ubuntu/Mint branding.

I love having Deluge, Devede,VLC, Gparted, and the PUEL version of VB installed by default.

    Overall great work! =D>

I take back what I said, when messing with partitions I screwed over my Ubuntu, so this is now my main distro, it's pretty good.

Lovely looking OS, but did you set a keyring password and left it in the DVD image? I'm trying to enter my Yahoo credentials in Empathy and it keeps asking for the keyring password.

LE: Deleting the keyring files in .gnome2/keryings allowed me to set a new password.

From the first run I think it looks pretty fantastic. I haven't really dug in yet, but I'm really liking what I'm seeing. For someone in the market for an "everything right there for you" distro, I think you've done a bang up job. Congrats.

There is sth strange concerning the language support.
I see that you've installed all varieties of English language support. However, I installed the Bulgarian language support and it seems that the system locales haven't been changed. My Wine "windows" applications do not recognize the Bulgarian (Cyrillic) encoding of text... and this is the way things work when no BG support is installed.

To use a different language other then English you will need to apply this fix.

This is all about French language. And translating the whole distro into French.

I just want the Bulgarian system locale available so that Wine applications recognize the Bulgarian alphabet, nothing more.

This is what I did to get it function correctly.

I installed the Bulgarian language support through the "Language Support" module in the "System" menu.

Opened the terminal and wrote these commands:

    Code:
    wget http://www.webdevonlinux.fr/wp-content/uploads/2010/07/locales.tar.gz
    Code:
    cd /usr/share/i18n/locales
    Code:
    sudo tar xvfz ~/locales.tar.gz
    Code:
    sudo locale-gen

    Regards,

Thanks for letting me know. This is a pretty big bug and it will be fixed.
