Internal Microphone on Acer 3820TG

Hello,

My internal microphone doesn't work at all,

I have Acer AS3820TG-3022,

Any advice please?

HI s7ev1n.

I would try installing the package for 'PulseAudio Volume Control'. Then turn either the left or right mic all the way down, leaving one channel at about 80% (You may have to unlock or they will both slide together).

Save your settings and then try your microphone. This worked for me before.

This also worked for me. I have an Acer Aspire 3820-A52C. Codec: Realtek ALC271X

Unfortunately it doesn't work for me. Maybe I am missing something? But I am trying to use the built in microphone and whenever I go into the audio controls I see everything greyed out.



FWIW, I'm trying to use Google voice search.
