Different wallpapers on each side of the cube?

I have a Serval Professional with 64-bit Ubuntu 10.04 and the proprietary NVIDIA drivers.
Here are a steps that I tried to see different wallpapers on each side of the cube:
    1. Opened the gconf-editor and under apps -> nautilus ->preferences and unchecked show desktop
    2. Installed the compiz-fusion-plugins-extra
    3. Opened the CompizConfig Settings Manager and under Utilities, clicked on Wallpapers
    4. Also while in the CompizConfig Settings Manager, clicked on the Desktop Cube -> Appearance and clicked on the + symbol in front of Cube Caps and then clicked on New and added four different images there.
I see no other place to add images to the cube
    4. Rebooted the computer

In spite of all of this, I always see the same wallpaper on the four walls of the cube.
Can you give me a suggestion on how to fix this?

This is kind of dated. Not sure if it still works.

Wished that it worked for me.
In this article, in one of the screenshots, one can see that there is Cube -> Appearance -> Background Images
I do not have that section at all and can't add background images.
    Wonder what I have forgotten.
Can you think of a way to make it possible to add background images?
    Thanks for responding.
