    Touch/Multi-Touch Screen Running Ubuntu?

I'm doing some research into starting up an Internet radio station after I earn my broadcasting degree in college. As such, I would like to use as much FOSS as possible, particularly with touch screen computers. Is it possible to run Ubuntu with touch and/or multi touch capabilities? If so, will an HP Touch Smart computer run Ubuntu? I would very much like to purchase said machine via Linux Foundation discounts if this is the case.

I'm not sure about that actual computer, but I did add a touchscreen to my netbook, and it worked without issue.

Maybe you can find a sympathetic retailer that will allow you to boot a Live USB and test it out?
There is an easy way, and a hard way to do things.
If you're anything like me, you've tried to do things things the hard way,

    and broke something.......

I think that sounds like the best idea. I'm going to create a Live USB of Ubuntu and bring it with me to local vendors. Here's hoping I can find a system that works.
