    Question Is it normal to have different upload/download speeds on the Network? (wireless)

    pc1 (wired) ----> router <---- pc2 (wireless)

    When transferring a file from pc1 to pc2 the speed is around 600KBps (1MBpx max) but from pc2 to pc1 is around 100KBps (400KBps max)

    The router is an encore ENHWI-G3 and the wireless pci card is an encore ENLWI-G2 both support 802.11g.

    Is it normal to have different upload/download speeds on the Network?
    Also: Is it supposed to be that slow?
