    Audio Crackling

    I've been running Ubuntu 10.04 64 bit on my desktop for quite some time now with no audio issues what so ever until I rebooted the other day(cant remember if I recently updated it or not). Now whenever I play a video or audio file in any media player like mplayer or vlc I get horrible audio crackling.

    maybe its not software. could be a loose connection
