Print Artist or similar program

Hi!

I used a lot a program called Print Artist before I change to Ubuntu. Unfortunately I reformat mynetbook hd (Acer Aspire One) to use Ubuntu only and now I see the problem is causing me because I can't use a lot of my programs.

I need to use my Print Artist program and can't install it. I have WINE and when I try to install the program with it it says "The file '/media/Print Artist DVD/setup.exe' is not marked as executable. If this was downloaded or copied form an untrusted source, it may be dangerous to run. For more details, read about the executable bit." I tried to change the setup propierties checking the "allow executing file" on the permissions and it doesn't let me change it. I'm using a genuine DVD

Is there a way to install this program? If not, is there a similar program I can install easily? I'm not very computer savvy.

I installed it a few minutes ago and it's a good program but not exactly what Print Artist is. Scribus is more similar to Inkscape, which I use to make my diagrams. I think I'll keep it but still will like a program like Print Artist or been able to install it.

right click on the file and go to properties then look for permissions after you get there click on execute and check allow executing file as program then open it in wine

I have done that and the program won't let me change the permissions to execute it with wine.
