    Machine does not iniciate

    Hi there,
I have a PC with Ubuntu that I leave on all day. Yesterday it was displaying a warning saying that I only had 2 Gb of free disk space, I found that very weird, but I deleted some old files and I freed 6 Gb.
This morning the lack of space warning appeared agian. since I hanven't used the computer I thought it was virus, so I installed Avast for Linux. Restarted the computer and this message appear after loading the BIOS:

INIT: Fail to spawn playmouth main process: Unable to execute: No such file or directoty.

Do any one know who to solve this?
    Thank you all

Which "old files" did you delete? Plymouth's error indicates something was deleted that shouldn't have been.

I just deleted the Matlab.iso and the Ubuntu.iso that ocupy abaout 5 Gbs... than I installed Avast...
The hard disk is 5 years old so maybe the problem can be related with some life ending of my HD?

Avast may or may not have deleted something important while it was scanning.
