Has anybody tried this office suite? Is it really much better than Oo.org?
The OpenOffice in Ubuntu is Go-OO. Or at least it is according to the Go-OO website. Also the package descriptions link to the Go-OO website, and it seems to have all the features specific to Go-OO (like supporting over 65536 rows in Calc). But for some reason they didn't keep the Go-OO branding/logo/splash changes.
Yes, I have used it. Every time I open OpenOffice in Ubuntu I'm using it. It is the default in Ubuntu and openSUSE, am not sure if it is so in Fedora though (I kinda doubt it).

Fedora has OO in its RPM Fusion and its the plain vanilla OO repackaged for Fedora.
