Web Conferencing

Hey guys,
I was wondering if I can setup my server for web conferencing something like -- I've few friends back home at one place. I would like to discuss things with them, yes I know skype provides what I'm looking for and I use it, however was just looking into it as don't have much to do in summer.

Do you have to set up a server to only chat or above all speak?

I was thinking tele(audio-video) conferencing and again if u have any other ideas u can pour in as its not wat I definitively want, just something, on which I'm working for time being.

Thats not much of a problem I suppose, I've plenty of time on hands
