Apologies in advance if this is the wrong place. I recently gained an n900, but don't want to hack ubuntu onto it just yet, and don't want an iPad or Android aPad or Archos 9 running W7 very slowly - I want something Ubuntu on a tablet. Been looking around, and there's nothing about.

I'm going abroad for a while, and want to be able to use a tablet for GPS/Sat Nav, hook up to WiFi hotspots, and via dongles to mobile broadband and FreeTV over the air, suing local devices/PAYG. I know I'm looking for a lot, but there's little out there apart from the n900 (too small) and Android (bit limited), Apple or MS.

I appreciate that the relative newness of the technology and problems getting the touch-screen and so on may be an issue. I just wanted to check that I've not missed out anything.

Thanks,

M.
