How TO: run Ubuntu 10.10 from the install cd

What is the command to run Ubuntu 10.10 from the cd, and NOT install it to the hard-drive?

P.S. The command "live" does not work

    Thanks,
    Ben

"try Ubuntu without any change to your computer"

It's the first option you get in the menu when you boot from the cd

Re: How TO: run Ubuntu 10.10 from the install cd

I am using Ubuntu 10.10 for PPC Mac. On this version, before anything happens i get this: "boot: ". After the "boot: " prompt, I have to type something in. The only command I know is "install". What is the command to run Ubuntu from the cd, and not install it to the hardrive?

P.S. the command "live" does not work

    Thanks,
    Ben
