    Forum's WIDTH

    On any given resolution and on different PC using different internet browser theres also to much space left. Any way to increase the forums WIDTH?

    I agree. I find I'm doing more side scrolling now on some posts. Is there plans for this extra realestate?

    The forum is semi fixed width. The changes were made to help the new forum layout look better.
    Manually installing software and setting up your system is always preferable. However, there is not one thing wrong with using Automatix for getting it done the easy way. Get Automatix2 Support Here

    Re: Forum's WIDTH

    The site has a mininmal width of 500 pixel. So if your browser window is less than 500 pixel wide, horizontal scrollbars appear. In that case either the CSS code of the site needs to be changed (can't help you there) or you could use a browser which supports small screen rendering, like Opera.

    A website signature would help you (and other people) also, if this isn't too much work for the administrator. I mentioned it already in the "Forum Layout Organization" thread, but maybe it got lost there.

    All that needs to be added is an id-attribute for the body-element:
    <body id="ubuntuforumsorg">

    So there are no future plans to broaden the width, since its just wasting space.
